The 12 selected startups will now advance to the IQ-CHem contest final, which will be held on 7 June during the Skolkovo 2017 Startup Village conference. The finalists comprise teams from Belgium, Germany, Russia, the USA, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Reliance Sibur Elastomers Private Limited (RSEPL), a joint venture between SIBUR and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), announced plans for setting up South Asia’s first halogenated butyl rubber unit at RIL’s integrated petrochemical site in Jamnagar, India. Currently, the design phase is underway.
