Moscow, 25 August 2016. Certain changes have been introduced to BIAXPLEN’s management team with a view to improving the Company’s operations and boosting management efficiency.

Sergey Komyshan, previously serving as both BIAXPLEN’s CEO and SIBUR’s Management Board member and Managing Director, will continue his career at SIBUR as the Management Board member and Managing Director, heading the Basic Polymers Division and being in charge of the Capital Investments and Investment Projects Department and Sales Development and Marketing Department.

Igor Klimov has been appointed Executive Director of BIAXPLEN, part of SIBUR’s Basic Polymer Division. At the same time, he retains his position as Director for Production and Operations, SIBUR’s Basic Polymers Division.

From 2007 to 2012, Igor Klimov served as CEO of SIBUR’s Tomsk facility (Tomskneftekhim). From 2012 to 2014, he headed the Department for Development and Implementation of SIBUR’s Production System. Under his leadership, Tomsk was the first site to implement the programme, and the successful roll-out continued in Tobolsk, Voronezh, Perm, and Dzerzhinsk. In 2014, Mr Klimov was appointed Director for Production and Operations at SIBUR’s Basic Polymers Division.
