In its petrochemicals business, SIBUR operates three steam cracker facilities, one PDH unit, 2 basic polymers production plants, manufacturing low density polyethylene (LDPE) and polypropylene (PP). As of 31 December 2014, the Group’s basic polymers production capacity was 995,000* tonnes per annum.
In 2014, SIBUR started implementation of “ZapSibNeftekhim” investment project in West Siberia to expand its polyolefin capacity (PP, HDPE, LLDPE) for additional 2 million tonnes per year.

SIBUR continues to develop its regional sales network, long-term relationships with partners, and modern methods of providing technical support to customers in order to meet their needs. The operational and strategic management of production activities, marketing and sales, as well as business development in the polyolefin segment, is the responsibility of the Basic Polymers Division.All SIBUR enterprises have certificates of environmental management compliance in line with ISO 14001:2004 international standard. The quality management system meets the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard.
